There are 4 types of events accepted in Freshchat:

message_create
conversation_assignment
conversation_resolution
conversation_reopen

All these events are sent with the webhook to the specific target. (for example, Digital Genius API if we setup it following the steps here)

Generate API Token in Freshdesk Messaging

You can generate API Tokens from your Freshdesk Messaging account to access Freshdesk Messaging APIs.

  1. Go to Admin > API Tokens
  2. Click Generate Token

Note: Once you generate a token, ensure that you store and transmit it securely as the APIs grant access to all the user and conversation data in your account.
