Inputs
| Name | ID | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Order ID | order_id | String | The Shopify order ID, such as 7158681174187; the Redo order ID; the external order ID; or the Shopify order name, such as #1001. |
Outputs
| Name | ID | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Success | success | Boolean | true when Redo returns the order. Check this output before using the order data. |
| Order | order | Object | The Redo order, including customer details, shipping information, line items, totals, tags, and fulfillments. Fulfillment data includes tracking company, tracking number, status, estimated delivery date, delivery timestamp, and tracking history. |
| Error Message | error_message | String | The reason the order could not be returned, such as an order not found or an invalid Redo connection. Empty on success. |
Handling order data
Check that a value is present before using it in a customer response or a subsequent activity. Redo’s order response includes optional fields, and monetary totals may be null.
Redo represents monetary totals as decimal currency amounts, not cents. Use the returned fulfillment and tracking data to determine which delivery details you can provide; do not assume every order has an estimated delivery date or delivery timestamp.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Order not found | Verify that Order ID identifies an order available through the flow’s Redo connection. For a Shopify order name, include the name as recorded, such as #1001. |
| Invalid Redo connection | Check the Redo connection configured for the flow. Redo’s Get Order API requires authorization with the orders_read scope. |
| Order returned without a value you need | Check whether Redo returned that field before using it. Treat missing tracking or delivery details separately from an order retrieval failure. |
